Mike Patterson
“You can improve yourself physically by making exercise specific to your own goals and limitations, but you can experience a great release from stress by making it fun.”
Mike has always been interested in fitness. Growing up he was active in sports as well as training in different martial arts styles. He started training in 2001 and received his BS degree in Health Behavior Management with a minor in Strength and Conditioning in 2004. Since then he has received other certifications in the field and continues to pursue education to become a better personal trainer. He has past experience training child to professional athletes, elderly, overweight and middle age populations, and individuals with certain conditions such as osteoporosis, post
heart issues, MS, etc.
Recently being certified as a Muscle Activation Specialist (MAT), Mike is able to determine what muscles are weak
within your body, through an assessment and correct your muscular
imbalances, which may prevent injury while you are training. Mike
believes no matter what your skill level is you can achieve your goals
as long as you have the willingness to try and believe in yourself and
he will do his best to make it fun for you.
