Willie Wilson

Willie is a Certified Personal Trainer through NPTI. He has 25+ years of hands on experience in physical fitness and has owned his own studio, appropriately named “Willpower”. He has a background in martial arts and competitive power lifting and believes in taking a mental approach to your training. After 20 years as a graphic artist, Willie’s second career began in earnest when he moved to Northern California in 1997 and started coaching high school football. Since returning to Delaware in 2001, he has been coaching at the Charter School of Wilmington, where challenges are the order of the day.
Willie believes a well rounded fitness program requires patience, persistence and perspiration, with a little core, flexibility, strength and balance thrown in for good measure. Willpower, common sense and a good plan are the keys to success. Move your body, lift heavier weights, (challenge yourself) sweat a little, smile a lot, and make the right choices (it’s all about choices!) Make the right ones.
