Cheryl Richards


Fitness is about being able to do the activities you enjoy without feeling your body complaining to you or limiting you in any way.

Cheryl has been in the fitness industry as a Certified Personal Trainer for over 20 years. As an avid fitness enthusiast, she brings motivation and knowledge that produce successful long-term results to her clients.


Cheryl has a Bachelor’s Degree in General Studies from Wilmington University and an Associate’s Degree in Business Administration. Cheryl is a Certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) as well as the American Fitness Professionals of America (AFPA). She is also certified in TRX Suspension Training, GRIT Coaching, Cycle Reebok, Mad Dogg Athletics and Functional Movement Screen (FMS).


Cheryl has participated in the Marine Corps. Marathon in 1999 successfully finishing in 4 hours. She has competed in numerous Adventure Races in the Maryland, D.C. area. 


Cheryl provides customized personal training programs for all fitness levels with emphasis on strength training, functional training for day-to-day activities, cardio-vascular workouts and stretching regiments. Cheryl teaches her clients consistency in their workouts, combined with a healthy lifestyle change is imperative for overall success.
