About Chris


Chris has a passion for health and fitness that started in college and brings with him over 20 years of fitness experience. His experience includes power lifting, strength training, flexibility, GRIT Coaching, TRX Suspension Training, core training and novice body building. Chris has helped a number of people from all ages transform their bodies, build functional strength, core stability and develop proper form and technique. This passion for fitness led Chris to pursue an advanced certification in Corrective Exercise. 


Corrective exercise techniques focus on the best approach to minimize injury risk from playing sports, exercising and maintaining a sedentary lifestyle. This is done through a comprehensive injury prevention strategy (corrective exercise), which requires a well-conditioned musculoskeletal system including ideal mobility and strength, as well as a logical reduction in activity to avoid overuse and injuries. When we lack the neuromuscular control to stabilize joints or the strength to reduce and produce force and the normal joint motion, we have movement dysfunction and obligatory compensation. When compensation occurs, joints are put in positions that can lead to injury.


Chris hopes to inspire people to pursue a healthy lifestyle and learn to enjoy working out without injury.
