The HAC Difference
HAC Summer Camp offers athletics and exploration themes for ages 6-12, or fitness fun specialty camps for ages 8-12 years. Our junior camp for ages 3-5 mirrors a preschool setting with added fun themes and activities. Full day, part day or any mix, you select the camp attendance option to meet your family's needs.
Our before and after care is included in camp tuition, as is "Pizza Friday" and some field trips/visitors. All campers can participate in morning recreational swimming and campers ages 6-12 are eligible to participate in our pop-up Spanish and Youth Yoga classes. All camp groups will incorporate use of our state park with trails, playing fields, classrooms, and indoor gymnasium. Snacks, lunch, and activities will take place in our classrooms.

Our Campers
HAC PAC II
Ages 3* - Rising Kindergartener
This program is specifically designed for 3, 4, and 5-year-olds. Our youngest campers receive a balanced program of both educational and recreational activities. Instead of field-trips, special in-house visitors are scheduled to coincide with themes.
*Must be age 3 by Dec. 31, 2024 and have full bathroom skills.
HAC PAC III
Ages 6-12 or have completed kindergarten
HAC PAC III campers can choose from athletic, fitness, or exploration themes for their camp weeks.

Application Process
Your application request will be reviewed before your child is enrolled in camp and before payment is completed.
In order for enrollment and payment to be complete, health appraisal forms must be current and Authorized Grown-ups, four adult individuals who may pickup for camp, must be included. We will accept any state health appraisal that was completed over the past year. Blank or photographed forms are not accepted.
Please upload a PDF of your child’s health appraisal. These forms are required for camp attendance by the State of Delaware.
For member rates to apply, camper and adult family member must be active members of the Hockessin Athletic Club when application request is accepted and payment processed. This includes maintaining member status through the duration of camp sessions. If your membership is on freeze or membership dues are not current, the non-member camp rate applies.
