What is Stretch Therapy and Why Do You Need It? Discover the Benefits

As we get older and our bodies change, we may start to notice aches, pains, and stiffness that we didn't have before. This can be especially true for those of us who sit at desks all day or lead a sedentary lifestyle.

Stretch therapy is a form of bodywork designed to alleviate those aches and pains and improve joint health. It involves a combination of assisted stretching and soft tissue work to help loosen tight muscles, improve posture, reduce injuries, decrease soreness post-workout, and increase flexibility.

Our certified stretch therapists work with you to identify areas of tension or pain and use a variety of techniques to help relieve them. This may include passive stretching, where your therapist moves your body through various stretches while you relax, or active stretching, where you actively participate in the stretch.

Certified Stretch Therapists:

Massage vs. Stretch Therapy
