Melissa has such a love and enthusiasm for fitness that it has become her second passion behind only her family and friends.  Melissa graduated from the University of Delaware, and after a career in financial services, she began her fitness journey as a group fitness instructor.  She became a Certified Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine so she could share her passion of fitness on a more personal level.  

As a working mother with two young children, Melissa knows first-hand that finding time for the gym can be challenging and when you have that time it’s best to use it to the fullest.  Melissa is passionate about helping others maximize their time, achieve their goals and hopefully fall in love with fitness. Knowing that there is not a one size fits all fitness model, Melissa aims to be adaptable with her programming to help find the types of exercise and lifestyle changes that are manageable and help you reach your goals.  Every session with Melissa should be simple, efficient and challenging.

Melissa enjoys lifting weights, but also knows the weight room can be an intimidating place. Whether you are looking for help and guidance in the weight room or just looking for someone to help you reach your fitness goals, Melissa would love to work with you.
